Try what again? Viewing that page? Or opening the Linkification options?

Go to Tools->Clear Private Data..., make sure "Cache" is checked, and "Clear It Now", then try it again.

Then I do not believe that I successfully got the 1.2.2 beta.
Please post the link you're clicking to download.

Then I do not believe that I successfully got the 1.2.2 beta. It would help if it had an About window like other extensions. I knew how to get into Linkification's options. (I had to turn on the option to have it highlight its links.) However, I still do not see your option.

I see no such option. How can I be sure that I am actually running 1.2.2? I downloaded that link (twice), but see no evidence that I got 1.2.2.
Check the date right beside the beta download link. It will say something like "Last updated: 2006-02-10 12:55am EST" in red italicized font"
As for the options, they are available, in the Extensions manager, by selecting the Linkification extension and either right-clicking or pressing the Options button. From there, right on the General tab of the "Linkification Options" dialog box, you will find the option y5 mentioned.

I don't, after I enable Thorough mode in the options. If you don't have "Thorough Mode" listed (it should be on the first options tab), install the latest beta and try again. The server seemed to have some weird caching problem last night, but it looks like it's passed.
Heh. "Thorough Mode" does solve it, but CPU utilization gets a real swift kicking for a good length of time on the linked page.

Just updated to the Feb 10 beta and I now get the same behavior you're describing.
